The Journey of positive parenting with MegAnne Ford

A clear path from beginner to C.L.E.A.R and Kind Parents

Introduction to Positive Parenting

As you enter the world of positive parenting, there can be a lot of questions and concerns. I provide various options for you to start exploring the work of becoming a C.L.E.A.R. and Kind Parent.

Free Community Spaces

  • Podcast
    • 15 min Q&A after weekly LIVE recording (week topic) - ZOOM

What can you expect from me:

In these free spaces, I ask questions to get you thinking about how you show up in your home and your relationships with your children.  I introduce evidence-based positive parenting theories that can grow and cultivate wonderful long-term relationships with the people that bring you so much joy!

What can you expect for yourself:

In my community-driven free spaces, it is a time for awareness. You might become aware of your interaction with your child. "Wow, I do yell a lot," or "I repeat myself constantly."

When & how to take the next step:

You feel like you want to know more about Positive Parenting. You want to feel like you are gaining control of your home life. You want more support. You know that good parents seek out support.

You sign up for the Understanding Us Series.  A week of curated emails to help you understand where you are in your parenting journey.

Understanding Us to Grow Positive Parenting Roots

If you're tired of struggling with temper tantrums, power struggles, and feeling disrespected, this 3-phase series will help you understand WHY it's so challenging to parent your strong-willed child.

Begin your journey on the inside

In the first phase of the series, you will receive weekly emails that will allow you to look within and begin to see temper tantrums and outbursts from a different angle. The second phase is a positive parenting class, and the third phase will introduce you to the Be Kind Coaching programs.

What can you expect from me:

You can sign up to receive these emails and start your journey to Positive Parenting right NOW

I will LIVE launch this beginners series 4 times year. So when you join for a live launch along with the emails and classes, I will host Live Zoom calls daily to share takeaways and answer questions. There will also be a private facebook community that will be available for three weeks to connect with like-minded parents.

What can you expect for yourself:

When you commit yourself to reading and journaling throughout the Understand Us Series, you begin to truly discover: what feels challenging, who are you becoming, exploring how "You are" statement turn quickly to "I am" statements, and identify your support network (ps it is okay if you feel alone), and determining what solutions in parenting are quick fixes vs sustainable solutions.

In understanding ourselves, we are brought into awareness. Without awareness (sometimes awareness can be prickly bush) we will continue to be stuck in our ways.

When & how to take the next step:

You are feeling a rush of excitement but also a sense of uneasiness. Like, "Thanks, now I am aware that things could look different, but now what?"

The next step is a three-part video series called Raising Respectful Kids, where we lay a foundation for what is to come.

It is never to late to build foundations for your relationship with children.

Raising Respectful Kids by building Positive Parenting Foundations

What is positive parenting? I am here to tell you, and I hope you get excited about this. It is not always speaking in a pleasant tone, using nice words, keeping everyone happy at all costs, or letting them get away with everything. Inside, we will explore positive parenting, and I will share why I know.

Rethinking your parenting toolbox

Three videos & a one-page work page to lay the foundations of what a positive parent is. You will learn about different parenting types, which one you are, and the benefits and setbacks each type has. We will start to uncover the truth that falling in love with the process, the fluffy parts, and the struggle to build and maintain relationships is where growth happens.

What can you expect from me:

I am a guide through your work, think of me as the helicopter that overlooks all the hard work you are doing within yourself and day to day with family. I will be there to answer any questions about the 3 video series during our quarterly ZOOM support calls. These will be recorded and available to watch whenever you need them.

What can you expect for yourself:

This is not easy work. There are no tricks, gimmicks, or 5-minute hacks. So you might feel overwhelmed and triggered.

You know that feeling when you notice a paper cut, it could have been an hour ago that it happened, but as soon as you notice, BAM, the pain comes. Well, it is okay to feel that. But, you are in a safe place to feel that pain, notice it, accept it, and keep going.

The paper cut will heal.

When & how to take the next step:

You feel hopeful after hearing about the C.L.E.A.R. Method and want to know more. However, you understand that this is not going to happen overnight. You know this is big work, and you are ready to dig deeper and learn more.

At the end of this 3 part series  you will gain access to Positive Parenting Class Pass that will provide you with 6 classes that help you understand each step of the C.L.E.A.R. Method as well as how to use them in your everyday life with your strong willed child.

Positive Parenting Class Pass, Exploring the Essentials.

Welcome to a short overview of the C.L.E.A.R. Method. Explore a new way to interact with your kids (and anyone around you) and be amazed at how they react and show up differently.

Then, it is time to slow down to speed up!

Bit-sized version of the C.L.E.A.R. Method

Six positive parenting classes for you to get a peek of the C.L.E.A.R. method that I teach & coach parents of the #Kindsquad. Connection, Limits, Empowerment, Accountability, and Recovery. I have created a method that works in any relationship and most certainly with the little people that bring a smile to your face one moment and make you want to pull out your hair next.

What can you expect from me:

Six classes that you get to work through at your own pace. Each class has pre-recorded Q&A with actual parents with strong-willed children. Although the situations may have different details, you will be able to identify and make connections with the classes. You will also have access to a quarterly live ZOOM Q&A, where you can bring all of your questions.

What can you expect for yourself:

After completing the courses, you will have  the C.L.E.A.R. Method, from learning that connection is the most skipped-over step and recovery is the most underutilized step.

How do you set yourself up for success? I recommend to plan when you will be sitting down with a pen and paper and immerse yourself in learning the method. Practicing new parenting skills is hard work, but it is worth the extra effort to build a secure relationship with your children.

When & how to take the next step:

You have worked through each of the six classes, it is starting to make sense, and you have begun implementing C.L.E.A.R. Method in your home. Now you are thinking, "I want to know why. I want to know more!"

You might be feeling like you need more support. The C.L.E.A.R. and Kind Parents program is here for you, with weekly coaching calls, parent lead Marco Polo video messaging app, and a private Facebook group.

C.L.E.A.R. & Kind Parents, the V.I.P. Experience

The ultimate support for a lifetime. When you join the Kindsquad, you are joining a group of parents working toward the same goal, building strong and secure relationships with their children.

The method, group coaching, and community support

The C.L.E.A.R. and Kind program is a deep dive into all aspects of positive parenting theories, thought processes, and foundations that work. You get to work through the program at your own pace and as often as you want to. Seven modules break down positive parenting and the C.L.E.A.R. Method.

What can you expect from me:

We meet weekly via ZOOM as a group and answer questions about anything to do with parenting. Kindsquad parents are encouraged to come as they are. We will work through the dirt and find the worm within the mess.

Along with the weekly open ZOOM calls, a private Facebook group to connect and share, and an extra kindsquad Q&A at the end of weekly LIVE podcast recordings.

You will also join the kindsquad on Marco Polo, a video-sharing app. A place where you can show up, share a win, share a disappointment, share what you have been processing, or listen to others.

What can you expect for yourself:

You are in the cycle. You are on a continuous journey of awareness, learning, and practicing. You know it will be sticky sometimes, and other times feel like a beautiful adventure. You feel confident in the challenging moments (Super Bowl moments) because you have been practicing outside the moment. When everything feels like you are in quicksand, you know that you have me and kindsquad to support and pull you out.

When & how to take the next step:

You are a part of the kindsquad for life. Other loving parents and I are here for you. Everyone's story and struggle are different. The one thing we can all connect to is we are humans.
