You DON'T have to be a book nerd

but I'll bet you probably have a yearning for conversation, connection, and community!

This book club is for you if you want to:

* Connect with like-minded parents
(who are committed to ditching toxic parenting methods)

* Learn and do
(and have the safe space to be accountable to someone other than yourself)

 * Stop trying to navigate things on your own
(and start getting support from fellow parents AND a Positive Parenting coach)

We'll explore new book every quarter which means you DON'T have to try to speed read a book a month! We'll meet every other Wednesday at 9pm EST for an hour to share our takeaways and chat.

If this sounds like it's JUST what you need, then click below to join us!

What we're reading:

'22 Quarter 2 (April-June)| Untamed by Glennon Doyle
This is all about seeing the ways in which we've lost ourselves (by being tamed, caged, and taught to play small) and exploring how to find ourselves again.

Book Club Dates: 4/6, 4/20, 5/4, 5/18, 6/1

'22 Quarter 3 (July - September)| The Whole Brain Child by Daniel J. Siegel MD
This is one of my personal favorites that I often use to explain how our brains are wired and help parents learn about their kids from a developmental perspective in a way that's easy to understand.

Book Club Dates: 7/6, 7/20, 8/3, 8/17, 8/31

'22 Quarter 4 (October-December)| Fair Play by Eve Rodsky
Ever feel overwhelmed by all of the "invisible work" you do? This book addresses the overwhelm and strain many partners experience and invites you to explore how to balance the workload at home in a sustainable way.

Book Club Dates: 10/5, 10/19, 11/2, 11/16, 11/30

'23 Quarter 1 (January-March)| The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

The Four Agreements teach us Toltec concepts and ideas that can help us realize our full potential as well-balanced and happy people, and how to remove the weight of other people's expectations of us. Ruiz tells us that we are all taught strict rules as children, which we make ourselves live by as adults.

Book Club Dates: 1/4, 1/18, 2/1, 2/15, 3/8

I'm ready!

Hey, friend!

I'm MegAnne!

I'm a grown up strong willed child who has dedicated the past 20 years of my life learning about childhood development and behavior.

5 years ago, I decided to step out of the classroom and start helping parents learn how to make a positive impact by understanding behavior so they can ditch the toxic parenting methods.

Now I'm inviting you to join me on this journey of learning and doing by reading books with a positive impact and connecting with fellow parents to share the experience with.

What parents are saying...

"You help me to be a better mother. Crushing generational cycles. Bringing awareness to areas I was so blind to before. It brings grateful tears to my eyes to live in a time where I can learn from you."

M.G.

Positive Parenting Mom

"Positive Parenting is constant work. It's being in control of myself, my emotions and taking accountability for my actions. Its' natural consequences and boundaries. It's letting them learn from their mistakes instead of being punished for them. It's a childhood you don't have to recover from emotionally."
